Elevate Interior Solutions are a product of a wider interior design and supplies brand family. Their core product, initially, is an affordable, high quality ceiling tile, as commonly seen in schools, businesses and hospitals across the UK. The exist to disrupt a relatively stable market, to offer a cheaper, UK-based alternative to the leading celling tile brands. This is the foundation of the business. Beyond this, Elevate have aspirations to build and grow, offering more environmental and technical interior solutions, feeding off of a loyal customer base.

Elevate need to build a brand and set of values and messages that is easy to understand. Direct. They need to be perceived as the brand you want a relationship with. Relatable, honest and fair. One that will listen to you as a buyer or “person on the tools” and react accordingly, with empathy and efficiency. As for their products, they should be seen as a “no-brainer” taking the risk out picking an alternative to leading brand.   

As a new challenger in the industry, we set Elevate the challenge to be distinctive. We wanted them to be the brand that is easy to deal with and accept; it’s up to Elevate to frame what “easy and right” means. This is as much as challenge in company values and ethos as it is to branding. How elevate behave needs to back up the strategy and messaging. 

Following brand strategy workshops and research we delivered a concise brand platform and vision for Elevate to take forward. Creatively, we unapologetically align this brand with some of the leading UK building products and tool brands in the UK. We want the core brand to be familiar, bold and direct. No frills or embellishments, just good honest graft and product. Language is absolutely vital to this brand, achieving the sense of being relatable, reassuring and knowledgeable.

The creation of a character (or characters) went a long way to adding some warmth and personality to what can be perceived as a “no frills”, direct typographic design solution. “Tyler” as we like to call him is “your man on the tools” – he’s been there, done it, knows what he wants and he’ll get the job done. Elevate are there to support Tyler at every stage – a winning team delivering a quality product more effectively and cheaper than the competition..   

Elevate Interior Solutions launched in the Autumn/Winter 2024. As well as providing a brand platform and guidelines around language, we delivered a clear set of brand assets and templates, allowing Elevate’s in-house team to take things forward with confidence, these include:

We continue to work with Elevate on a consultancy basis, acting as creative consultant and brand guardian. Our role is to ensure consistency and to evolve
the brand as they grow. Recent projects have included further direct marketing creative solutions and art direction of promotional films (not taking things too seriously, of course).

The L&F team were a delight to work with. With 10 minutes of our brand strategy meeting I knew we had the right guys for the job. They were really “got us” and challenged us to be brave and true to our vision and identity. Everyone from top to bottom really bought-in to the proposed strategy and felt invested in it. The creative they produced brought a smile to our faces and it’s a joy to work with. Beautifully simple and direct. We’ve had amazing feedback which really gives us confidence moving forward.
